183: Lessons Learned from The Running Lifestyle Show

Kari (5_18_2017)

This is one of those episodes where it’s you, me, and the mic. I specifically discuss TRLS episodes that have had the greatest impact on my life and why. All episodes feel like my babies, but these in particular contain habits and routines that I use:

  • Why to practice meditation, go outside, exercise, eat nutritious foods, prioritize sleep, be with your tribe, and how mindset affects everything
  • How we evolve, and how one thing that we love and did all of the time can become not so novel and have diminishing returns

Serena and I talk about intermittent fasting, the science behind it, why she doesn’t like it personally, and why I actually like it. It’s definitely one of those “every body is different” conversations.

I discuss the following episodes:

Episode 182 The Ups and Downs of the Runner’s High with Steven Kotler
Episode 181 Sleeping When It’s Best For YOU with Dr. Michael Breus
Episode 180 Running With And Away From Dogs with Dr. Ernie Ward
